tulsa museum, travis, tribal, tribes, tribe, tundra tribal source USA TODAY title Tribes in Texas have taken over Texas state Capitol article The tribe of Tribes of the Grand Staircase-Escalante in Texas has been working to regain its sovereignty in the state capital of Austin since 2015.
In 2017, the tribe declared itself a sovereign nation, and began negotiating with local governments.
The tribe, which has a population of about 2,400 people, says it hopes to become a sovereign state within the next decade.
The Texas House of Representatives passed a bill last month that would allow the tribe to hold its own election, and to decide whether to become self-governed.
The bill passed the Senate in a vote of 51-44.
The tribes decision to form a new state, which will include all of Texas, could also affect the Texas House.
If the tribe becomes a sovereign entity, it would have to comply with the U.S. Constitution.
But if the tribe is removed from Texas, the new state will not be able to enact any federal laws.
Tensions have been high since the tribe was placed in a group called the Fort Bend Tribe, which would be responsible for the tribe’s sovereignty in Texas.
The federal government has threatened to take over the tribe, but Congress has refused to act on that threat.
Tension has grown in recent years, as the federal government continues to allow oil drilling on tribal lands.
The Fort Bend tribe says it wants to continue drilling on the land it owns, but the federal oil and gas industry is trying to stop the tribe from drilling.
Tapping oil on the tribal lands has also been a sticking point between the tribe and the federal and state governments.
And tensions have grown between the tribes two largest oil companies, Shell and ConocoPhillips.
